Role Overview:
Are you organized and detail-oriented? As a Stockroom Assistant at 8Bits, you will play a key role in managing our inventory and ensuring that products are readily available for our customers. Your responsibilities will include handling stock, maintaining inventory records, and supporting the store’s operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and organize incoming stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Maintain inventory records and manage stock levels to ensure products are readily available.
- Organize and store merchandise in the stockroom according to company standards.
- Assist with stock replenishment, shelf organization, and product displays on the sales floor.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing team to order new inventory as needed.
- Handle any stock discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
- Support sales initiatives and promotional activities by ensuring stock availability.
- Assist with store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and high standards of service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in stockroom, inventory management, or a related role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented attitude.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
