THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re on the lookout for an ambitious marketing manager to come in and take the accelerate agency brand to market.
Reporting into the head of growth, you’ll be provided the freedom to execute strategic multi-channel marketing approaches, taking advantage of SEO, paid advertising and event based marketing streams. We’re looking for a hard working, big picture thinking, marketing extraordinaire!
ABOUT YOU
First and foremost, you have an appetite for lead generation and all things digital. You’ll be well versed in multi-channel digital marketing strategies, driving brand awareness and creating business opportunities for our sales team to follow up on.
You’ll have strong campaign management experience having previously run multiple campaigns in unison. You’ll have previous experience allocating budget across different marketing campaigns, using data to make informed decisions to maximise output. Finally, you’ll have experience defining KPIs for your marketing team and establishing targets.
You’re a confident writer and editor. You’ll have a team of writers at your disposal, however we’re looking for someone who can take the lead on inbound and outbound content strategies.
You’ll know how to write click-worth social copy and how to communicate technical projects into compelling digestible case studies. You know your way around WordPress and know what good content looks like.
Finally, you’ll have experience when it comes to branding. We’re looking for someone who can build brand awareness through different marketing activities, ensuring that all of these are aligned.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- In partnership with the head of growth, define core objectives to be achieved through the marketing function
- Define an end-to-end marketing & growth strategy and deliver this strategy throughout the year
- Define KPIs and lead the marketing function, ensuring that the senior leadership team is kept up to date with progress through the use of detailed reporting
- Grow a consistent pipeline of leads for our sales team utilising multi-channel strategies such as SEO, paid, social and events based marketing
- Own branding, ensuring that all marketing efforts are aligned with the brand
- Coordinate valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that conveys our expertise and attracts our differing target markets
- Own the creation of marketing assets, from blogs, creds decks, case studies, marketing and sales proposals
- Take charge of our CRM, aiding the sales team with all outbound marketing functions
- Write award submissions to showcase our best work
- Oversee company social media channels and editorial schedule
- Responsible for website management
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience of working for a B2B tech company and/or previous agency experience
- Previous experience working on digital lead generation campaigns using channels such as SEO, PPC, social, LinkedIn
- Knowledge of automation/ lead nurturing using a CRM platform (preferably Hubspot)
- Familiarity with using Canva, Photoshop and Indesign
- Knowledge of Google sheets, docs and slides
- Ability to write punchy, click-worth copy for social posts, newsletters, collateral, case studies and awards submissions
- Holds both a strategic and tactical mind-set
- Senior stakeholder Management
- Demonstrable experience of using data to inform decision making
- Understanding of how to manage a variety of target audiences and products and conversion funnels
- Experience of managing budgets and making realistic decisions between marketing programs, based on data analysis and desired product outcomes
- Strong project management capability and detail orientation
