About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Store Assistant to join our team in Bristol. As a Retail Store Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by assisting with store operations, managing merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with their shopping needs, offering product information, recommendations, and support.
• Maintain the sales floor by organizing merchandise, setting up displays, and ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit, and debit card payments.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and restocking shelves.
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges professionally and efficiently, following store policies.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and welcoming by performing regular tidying and maintenance tasks.
• Support promotional activities and sales initiatives by setting up displays and assisting with in-store events.
• Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or needs for restocking to management.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and ensure smooth store operations.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products, promotions, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in retail or customer service is a plus.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and handling cash.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm for retail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
