Job Title: Stockroom Assistant

About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and organized Stockroom Assistant to join our team in Bristol. As a Stockroom Assistant, you will be responsible for managing stock, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from the stockroom to the sales floor, and supporting the overall operations of the store. Your attention to detail and efficiency will be key in maintaining an organized and well-functioning stockroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, and organize incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy in quantities and quality of goods.
• Maintain an organized stockroom by arranging items according to store standards and safety regulations.
• Restock shelves on the sales floor, ensuring products are available and displayed neatly for customers.
• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts to monitor stock levels and prevent discrepancies.
• Assist with stock replenishment, product labeling, and tagging as needed.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely and efficient restocking of merchandise.
• Monitor and report any stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies to management.
• Ensure that the stockroom is clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.
• Assist in preparing stock for promotional activities, sales events, and seasonal changes.
• Support the store team with general tasks and duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a stockroom or warehouse role is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock and inventory.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items as needed.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills for inventory management.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
