We are currently seeking Management Trainees to join our rapidly expanding team. This role is perfect for individuals who aspire to build a career in sales management and leadership within the renewable energy sector. Our comprehensive management training program offers hands-on experience in all aspects of sales operations, with the ultimate goal of developing future leaders who can grow within our company.
Role Responsibilities:
- Engage in door-to-door residential sales, actively promoting and explaining the benefits of Scottish Power’s energy solutions to potential customers.
- Learn the fundamentals of cold calling and lead generation to identify and convert prospects into customers.
- Support the team in achieving sales targets by developing your own sales pipeline and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
- Participate in daily sales meetings and training sessions to gain knowledge in product offerings, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
- Manage and maintain accurate customer records in our CRM system, ensuring follow-ups are scheduled and customer data is kept up-to-date.
- Shadow senior sales representatives and management staff to learn advanced sales techniques and leadership skills.
- Take responsibility for smaller team projects, learning how to manage a team, allocate resources, and track team performance.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to provide feedback and assist in refining sales strategies.
- Progressively take on more responsibility as your skills develop, with opportunities to lead small teams and projects as you gain experience.
Candidate Requirements:
- Applicants must be based in the UK and have full and unrestricted right to work. We cannot provide sponsorship or accept Tier 4 or PSW visas.
- Candidates must not have applied with us in the past 30 days.
- No prior management experience required, but a minimum of 1 year in a customer-facing role is preferred. We are looking for candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively engage with a variety of customers.
- Highly motivated, target-oriented, and capable of adapting to fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to maximise sales opportunities.
- Eager to take on challenges and committed to developing a career in sales management.
- A valid UK driving licence is advantageous, though not a requirement.
