Job Title: Accounts Manager / Inside Sales Representative

 

Compensation: $34,000 - $65,000+ DOE, Includes Uncapped Residual Commissions on Recurring Client Revenues

Summary:  Our Accounts Managers are responsible for creating long-term, trusted relationships with our customers, understanding their specific needs, and presenting quality, cost-effective solutions that non-technical people can understand. 

 

As an Accounts Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, actively seek new sales opportunities, and ensure client satisfaction and retention remains high year over year. You will spend considerable time connecting with key business executives and decision-makers, using our IT auditing software to prepare client reports and sales presentations, helping clients understand their IT and cybersecurity needs, and presenting the solutions that our company provides to meet those needs. This position will require occasional travel to client locations for IT assessment and sales presentations.

 

Other duties include answering client inquiries, onboarding new clients into our system, and identifying new business opportunities among existing customers. 

 

To succeed in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, able to work with marketing and fulfillment teams, and build rapport with customers. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, building long-term trusted relationships, generating interest in our products, communicating the value of our services, and closing sales. If you have a desire to help businesses secure and improve their technology, have a flair for client communication, and understand customer behavior, we’d like to meet you!

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  1. Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting, trusting client relationships
  2. Develops new business with existing clients and identifies strategies to improve sales revenues
  3. Generates sales presentations for new and prospective clients using our IT auditing software and performs effective sales presentations
  4. Negotiates contracts and closes agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction
  5. Ensures the timely and successful delivery of identified solutions according to customer needs
  6. Prepares reports on account status and clearly communicates the progress of monthly/quarterly objectives to the existing clients in your portfolio
  7. Onboards new clients into our system while giving them an exceptionally positive first impression
  8. Serves as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  9. Assists with challenging client requests or escalations as needed
  10. Collaborates with upper management to identify and grow new opportunities within the region
  11. Sources new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  12. Maintains and expands your database of prospective customers within the Shasta County area
  13. Performs self-study for job-specific skills.*

Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with basic use of computer systems (Mac and PC)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Good understanding of computer systems, email, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Technical background and familiarity with business grade IT infrastructure (servers, networks, routers, etc.) is a plus, but not required

 This individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, they are also regularly required to use hands, sit and talk or hear. They are also occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
