Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Female Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services including obstetrics, gynecology, prenatal and postnatal care, minimally invasive procedures, and management of complex gynecological conditions while ensuring high standards of patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological consultations for outpatient and inpatient cases.
- Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, antenatal care, labor, delivery, and postnatal care.
- Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders including menstrual disorders, PCOS, infertility, fibroids, endometriosis, and menopausal conditions.
- Perform gynecological and obstetric surgical procedures including cesarean sections and minimally invasive surgeries where applicable.
- Conduct routine women’s health screenings and preventive care services.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, anesthetists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH regulations and hospital protocols.
- Educate patients regarding reproductive health, pregnancy care, family planning, and preventive healthcare.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, CME programs, and departmental meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.
- Board Certification / Fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Minimum 5–7 years of post-board consultant experience in a reputed hospital.
- Expertise in obstetrics, gynecology, and women’s health management.
- Strong surgical, communication, and patient counseling skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in minimally invasive gynecological procedures and laparoscopic surgery.
- Exposure to high-risk obstetric cases in tertiary care settings.
- Arabic speaking skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work in a multicultural healthcare environment.
