We are seeking a qualified Consultant Ophthalmology (Cornea) to join our team of dedicated professionals in Saudi Arabia. As a Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will provide comprehensive and specialized eye care to patients with a focus on corneal diseases. You will play a key role in managing and diagnosing a wide range of conditions related to the cornea, including infections, degenerative diseases, dry eyes, and corneal dystrophy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct a thorough assessment of patients' medical histories, symptoms, and conditions to accurately diagnose and treat corneal diseases.

- Perform various diagnostic tests and procedures, such as corneal topography, pachymetry, and specular microscopy.

- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, recommending surgeries, and providing other forms of therapy.

- Collaborate with other ophthalmologists, optometrists, and healthcare team members to ensure effective and coordinated patient care.

- Monitor and manage post-operative care for patients undergoing corneal surgeries or procedures.

- Keep up-to-date with advancements in corneal treatments and technologies to provide the best possible care to patients.

- Provide patient education and counseling on proper eye care and treatment.

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution and board certified in Ophthalmology.

- Fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Ophthalmology, with a focus on corneal diseases.

- In-depth knowledge and understanding of corneal conditions, treatments, and procedures.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Must Be Western-trained.
