Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterology - Qatar at Allocation Assist Middle East

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterology to join our dynamic team in Qatar.

As a Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterology, you will provide expert medical care to children with diseases and disorders affecting the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to ensure the highest quality of care and outcomes for our young patients.

Key responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough consultations and physical examinations of pediatric patients

- Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions in children, including inflammatory bowel diseases, celiac disease, and pancreatic disorders

- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver biopsies

- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and guidelines

- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide education and support to patients and their families

- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other specialties to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Contribute to research and education activities, including teaching and supervision of medical students and residents

- Keep up-to-date with advancements in pediatric gastroenterology through continuous learning and professional development activities

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Board certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology or equivalent qualification from a recognized international body

- Minimum of 5 years of post-certification experience in a reputable healthcare facility

- Experience in diagnosing and treating complex pediatric gastrointestinal disorders

- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and guidelines in pediatric gastroenterology

- Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Must be western trained
