Consultant PICU - Sharjah at Allocation Assist DMCC

Position: Consultant PICU - Sharjah

Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Looking for an experienced PICU Consultant to join our dynamic and growing team at Allocation Assist Middle East. As a Consultant PICU, you will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Sharjah.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care and management to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU

• Perform clinical procedures including intubation, ventilation, and line insertions

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed

• Train and supervise junior medical staff, ensure proper protocol adherence and patient care

• Collaborate with other medical departments and specialists for optimal patient care

• Participate in quality improvement projects and research initiatives

• Provide on-call coverage as per duty roster

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution

• Post-graduate qualification in Pediatrics, preferably with a specialization in Pediatric Critical Care

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant in a reputable hospital or medical center

• Strong knowledge and skills in Pediatric ICU, including management of ventilation and invasive monitoring

• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills

• Proven track record in providing high-quality patient care and managing complex cases

• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and handle emergency situations

• Must be Western-trained
