Job Description:

As a ReactJS Developer at Anglestack, you will design and implement user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack. You will also be responsible for profiling, improving front-end performance, and documenting our front-end codebase.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop new user-facing features using React.js

- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code

- Optimise components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

- Write well-documented, clean code that adheres to industry best practices

- Troubleshoot and debug applications

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and frameworks

 

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a ReactJS Developer or similar role

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux)

- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs

- Knowledge of modern authorisation mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

- Experience with standard front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

- A knack for benchmarking and optimisation

- Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject (preferred but not required)
