We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Stockroom Assistant to join our team and help us maintain our high standards.
As a Stockroom Assistant, you will be responsible for the efficient organisation and management of our stockroom. Your role will involve receiving shipments, organising inventory, and ensuring that our sales floor is well-stocked and ready for customers. You will work closely with the retail team to support product displays and maintain an organised stock area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming merchandise shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against purchase orders.
- Unpack and label products; ensure proper storage in the stockroom.
- Maintain an organized stockroom, including stock rotation and inventory management.
- Restock shelves and sales floor displays according to merchandising guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and help identify discrepancies or stock shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient store operations.
- Keep stockroom and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Follow health and safety procedures and standards regarding stock handling.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and stock management.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
