We are looking for a responsible Physician Assistant that fluently speaks both English and Spanish to support our chiropractor's work and actively facilitate patients’ recovery. You will apply medical techniques and pain management therapies to a diverse set of patients, offering them care and encouragement after an auto accident

 

Who We Are

 

Arrowhead Clinic specializes in treating accident injuries, with over 45 years of experience treating patients across Georgia. We are currently looking for a Physician Assistant experienced in Personal Injury or Pain Management to join us. Our patient population includes those from auto accidents, slip and falls, workplace injuries, neck/back pain, whiplash, sports injuries as well as non-injury cases.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Candidates will work in our Atlanta, GA offices with a medical assistant in collaboration with our medical director.

 

Physician Assistant Job Duties:

  • Contributes to chiropractors' effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term patient care issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing chiropractic treatment instructions.
  • Assesses patient condition by reviewing medical history and performing physical examinations, interpreting test results, and creating a customized treatment plan.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with proper procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Protects patients and employees by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Contributes to the team management style of patient care.
  • Assess patients’ health and their demands and aim to fulfill them as well as possible
  • Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine
  • Inform physicians about any problems or discrepancies that might arise
  • Acquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditions
  • Monitor patients’ progress and keep records of treatments or other medical events
  • Prepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures (measure blood pressure and temperature, administer trigger point injections, etc)
  • Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients
  • Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards
  • Collaborate effectively with team members of various specializations

 

Requirements

 

  • Proven work experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, therapy, and recovery
  • Familiarity with advancements in medical technology and current know-how
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Caring and compassionate
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • BSc/MA in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science, or Medical Science
     

The successful candidate must possess dependability, exceptional communication capabilities, the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and knowledge concerning musculoskeletal injuries.
