Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for managing and coordinating the shipment of goods. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process shipping documents and labels.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and freight companies.
• Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking and delivery information.
• Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments.
• Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
• Assist with inventory management and control.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages.
• Familiarity with shipping regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
