Position Overview:

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This role is vital to maintaining the smooth and efficient operations of our warehouse, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Unloading: Receive and unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, and verify quantities against purchase orders.
• Inventory Management: Organize and store products in their designated locations. Conduct regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick products from shelves according to order slips, pack them securely, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Shipping: Prepare shipments by labeling and organizing packages, and assist with loading them onto trucks for delivery.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively within a team setting.
