As a Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of software products using Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for facilitating and empowering agile practices within cross-functional development teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration between team members, and driving continuous improvement within the product team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- +3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering products using Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of different Agile frameworks.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Passion for continuous learning and improvement
Responsibilities
- Serve as a servant leader and coach for agile principles and values within product teams.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
- Guide and support the product owner in creating and managing the product backlog.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure user stories are clear and achievable.
- Remove any impediments and blockers that may hinder the team's productivity.
- Monitor product progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing improvements to processes and practices.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate any potential risks or issues that may affect product delivery.
