Admin Assistant (remote)

The successful candidate will work as an Admin Assistant for a Venture Capital Fund that invests in Seed stage start-ups, primarily focusing on Southeast Asia and Fintech. This part-time role could evolve into a full-time position as the company grows. The ideal candidate has a legal or financial background and experience in the financial industry (venture capital, private equity, hedge funds) or tech startups.

  • Working hours: Flexible (between 9 am - 5 pm SGT)
  • Monthly Starting Salary: $400 
  • Starting date: ASAP
     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to partners with legal, accounting, fund administration, regulatory, and operational tasks.
  • Prepare and manage legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Assist with accounting tasks, including invoice processing and expense tracking.
  • Manage fund administration activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and manage calendars.
  • Organize and maintain files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Utilize Google Workspace, MS Office, Mailchimp, and other tools to perform daily tasks efficiently.
  • Support partners in operational tasks, including project management and communication.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an admin assistant.
  • Previous experience within the financial industry (e.g., banks, funds, venture capital, private equity, hedge funds).
  • Background in legal or finance to understand and support business needs.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, Mailchimp, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and innovative approach.
