Digital Asset Research Analyst (remote)

The successful candidate will work as a Digital Asset Research Analyst for an industry-leading digital asset research firm dedicated to providing cutting-edge analysis and insights into the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency and blockchain markets. This team is passionate about the future of digital assets and committed to delivering high-quality research to our clients. Their clients include hedge funds, institutional investors, as well as individual investors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the digital asset industry, a keen interest in cryptocurrencies, and the ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis. This role will start as a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time based on the quality of work and performance.
 

• Part-time: 20 hours per week (with potential to grow into full-time)
• Remote job
• Working hours: Flexible (between 9 am - 6 pm SGT)
• Monthly Starting Salary: $400
• Starting date: To be discussed
   

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Monitoring: Screen Twitter and crypto news outlets daily to identify noteworthy events and trends in the crypto markets. Provide updates to the management team to support in-depth research efforts.
• Crypto Protocol Research: Conduct comprehensive research on various cryptocurrency protocols to understand their mechanics, use cases, and market potential.
• On-Chain Analysis: Perform on-chain analysis to evaluate the current state of the crypto market, identifying trends and patterns that may impact market dynamics.
• Data Analysis: Assemble and analyze data to present an accurate depiction of market conditions. Provide actionable insights based on data findings.
• Research Reporting: Potentially write detailed research reports on specific crypto assets, market trends, and other relevant topics.
• Additional Tasks: Assist with any other relevant tasks as needed to support the research team.
   

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the digital asset industry, preferably in a research role.
• Strong interest in cryptocurrencies and financial markets.
• Degree in finance, business, or technology-related fields.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and platforms commonly used in crypto research.
• Experience with macroeconomics, including liquidity cycles, business cycles, inflation, and debt cycles. (plus)
• Ability to provide previous research pieces or publications. (plus)
• Previous work experience in a hedge fund or investment firm. (plus)
