We maintain the Cosmos SDK,the Interchain Builders Program and a chain data analytics platform Numia. Headquartered in Switzerland, we are a distributed team that works in CET timezone. Position Summary

The Marketing Manager for the Cosmos SDK will have a deep understanding of the market, our customers, and our product. You will be technical enough to understand the Cosmos SDK and its functionality, through the lens of the problems and pain points it solves. You will be able to effectively articulate how these value props compare against competing technologies.

 

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote the Cosmos SDK - with the ultimate goal of onboarding more developers into the ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing campaigns, not only to promote the Cosmos SDK, but the SDK as a holistic product.

The Cosmos SDK is a key component of the Interchain Stack - a toolkit that allows developers to build secure and highly performant application-specific blockchains with ease. We are looking for a Marketing Manager - one with demonstrable marketing experience, to help us broaden the adoption of our technology amongst blockchain developers.

 

As Binary Builders is a relatively new organization, you can expect to wear many hats in this role. We are looking for an individual who is eager to take the lead on Binary’s marketing efforts as an organization, as well as one who could provide the Builders Program’s team with valuable insights regarding marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies
    Create and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new feature launches of the Cosmos SDK, encompassing market segmentation, positioning, and messaging. 
  2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
    Work closely with product management and engineering teams, to ensure alignment of product development and marketing efforts.
  3. Market Research and Competitive Analysis
    Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify target customers, market opportunities, and product differentiators.
  4. Content Creation and Event Management
    Content creation, including blog posts, whilst working closely with the ICF marketing team as a key point of contact for events, podcasts, composing tweets, and overseeing activities such as hackathons, speaking slots, and podcasts. Although you’ll primarily be working for the Cosmos SDK, this includes content creation and management for Binary Builders as an organization as well.
  5. KPI Development and Campaign Analysis
    Develop and manage product marketing KPIs and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  6. Manage External Relationships
    Manage relationships with external partners, such as PR agencies, media outlets, and the Interchain Foundation, to increase brand awareness and drive demand.
  7. Publishing Channel Management
    Manage our content channels (blog, social media, etc) to increase mindshare and visibility and engagement with the Interchain Stack.

Role Requirements

We are looking for an ambitious, approachable, collaborative, self-starter, creative, and curious individual to fill this role.

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing roles, preferably within the blockchain or technology industry.
  • Experience working with multiple technical engineering teams simultaneously, with the ability to form cohesive marketing narratives.
  • A demonstrable record of being driven, confident and enterprising, being able to simultaneously wear multiple hats, and working with key stakeholders
  • A proven track record of developing strategies and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive technical user acquisition and engagement.
  • A strong understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, user personas, and market dynamics.
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives around complex concepts.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in marketing analytics tools, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong management skills working with both internal stakeholders and external service providers.
  • The position is remote, but you must be available during CET working hours
  • You must be able to travel periodically for work-related events & conferences
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, remote work environment.
