As a front-end developer you’ll be working closely with other members of a cross-functional team, including designers and back-end developers, to build bespoke projects for a range of clients. You will be accustomed to using semantic and accessible markup and well considered performant CSS to bring flat designs to life with an outstanding attention to detail. As the role requires building interactive front-ends for a larger system, some knowledge of one or more of the CMS platforms we use, Drupal 7/8 and WordPress, is preferred. The main skill requirements are as follows:
- HTML5, CSS, BEM & Sass or similar
- Templating (Twig/Underscore/Handlebars or similar)
- Javascript (ES5/6, jQuery, some React/Gatsby or similar)
- Build tools (Gulp, Webpack, npm)
- CMS experience (Drupal/WordPress/Shopify/Squarespace)
- Git (Github/Gitlab/Bitbucket)
- Design tools (InVision/Sketch/Photoshop)

The work

In addition to client project work, this role will come with the opportunity to create and develop agency products, so you'll need to be creative and insightful.

We're looking for someone to work from our Manchester office.
Is this full time?
Yes, we’ll expect someone who can give us 37.5 hours a week.
How much experience do I need?
We want someone who can hit the ground running, so ideally 2-3 years commercial experience. At least part of this should be agency-based.
What does the role pay?
Up to £35k per year.
