Marketing Manager at Block Games

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase brand awareness. You will manage a team of creative professionals and work closely with other department heads to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing plans that support the company's overall business objectives
• Oversee the marketing budget and ensure that it is being used effectively to drive business growth
• Manage a team of creative marketing professionals, including setting goals and objectives, providing guidance and support, and evaluating performance
• Identify and target key market segments, and develop marketing campaigns and strategies to engage those segments
• Analyse market trends and customer data to inform marketing decisions and strategy
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with overall business objectives
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, and adjust as necessary to improve results

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years of experience managing/leading a team
• Passion for gaming and knowledge/interest in the metaverse, blockchain, crypto, NFTs, web3 etc
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Fluent English language skills
• Experience working in the gaming industry (mobile a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results and drive business growth through effective marketing efforts

Block Games is a rapidly growing independent mobile game publishing studio, creating player-owned games via blockchain technology.  We are privately funded and are currently in the process of closing Seed funding from leading investors within the gaming industry.

Our first title, Shatterpoint, is a free-to-play, action multiplayer RPG, where players choose their Hero and enter PvE mode before taking on other players in PvP’s seasonal tournaments, clan battles and other special events.
