The role

If so, you will find your place at Bolt Insight, we’re looking for a Client Director to lead the charge in fostering and expanding our client relationships.  
 
You’ll be the linchpin in nurturing our existing key clients and winning over new ones. Your profound sector knowledge will fuel consultative solutions that spark innovation and create unmatched value propositions for our clients. You’ll work closely with our research team to craft proposals that deliver high value results, commercial success, and loyalty from our clients.  

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management – develop and maintain relationships, understanding unique needs, challenges and opportunities. 
  • Strategic planning – turning client pain points into long-term goals and initiatives, finding avenues for sideselling and expanding our service. 
  • Team Leadership – inspiring our Business Develop Squad by mentoring and guiding their own development towards the company goals. 
  • Customer Satisfaction – monitoring satisfaction and ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and professionally 
  • Contract management – overseeing negotiations, ensuring we care competitive in the market, but also managing a steady flow of projects for the Research Team. 
  • Market Insights – Knowing and updated on industry trends and developments, keep up recommendations to transform the business.

 

The core skills we are looking for are as follows, with bonus points on offer to help you really stand out from the pack:

 

Essential

  • 7+ years’ experience in Market Research, business development and/or sales roles  
  • Strong commercial acumen  
  • In-depth knowledge of Market Research and Innovation 
  • A thriving network in the consultancy, FMCG and agency sectors 
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and proven track record of closing deals  
  • Creative, high energy and proactive mindset  
  • Meticulous attention to detail  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • A talent for building robust internal and external relationships  
  • A true team player who thrives on collaboration.   

 

Bonus points

  • B2B Insights and/or SaaS experience
  • A passion for start-up life
  • Entrepreneurial experience
