Senior Engineer/Leader/Scientist High-frequency Analog Signal Processing, Greater New York City Area

Are you a deep thinker?  Do you get enthusiastic about scientific work?  Have you achieved expertise in high-frequency signal processing?  Do you consider yourself an advanced electrical engineer?

If you can answer these questions affirmatively, you should consider joining our client’s team.  They are located in Hawthorne, NY, a worldwide manufacturer of leading-edge inspection equipment, and an engineering solutions provider.  These technologies serve the food, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. Their technology is non-destructive and quantitative. These instruments incorporate 10 – 20 kV and 24 VDC to perform their tasks.

A motivated, dynamic, creative, and technically intelligent professional is being sought to lead the signal processing design and implementation for products as they progress through the product development lifecycle. This position is responsible for RF analysis, signal processing, PCB board development, circuit design, high voltage, low voltage, calculation/algorithm development, and data analysis for our client’s platform of leak detection technology.  The client is only interested in candidates who have worked with high-frequency analog signal processing and enjoy this as “hands-on” work.

The best candidates meet these minimum requirements:

  • Must have legal permission to work in the U.S. and have a valid passport.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited program.
  • Ten years’ industry experience with three years in a lead designer/project management role and deep knowledge of high-frequency analog signal processing preferably in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, and Circuit Design, and development of Electro-Mechanical Systems.
  • Working knowledge of MATLAB/Python and/or Labview and all Microsoft Office products.
  • Working knowledge of DVMs and oscilloscopes.
  • Candidates must be able to present cases of past successful projects.

In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, the position offers an opportunity to work in the following culture:

  • 40 hour work weeks, 8-5 (Office cleared out by 6 PM)
  • Any weekend work gets the employee a comp day
  • No working from home offices
  • An intelligent team of employees
  • Global mindset, global travel

Upon joining the team you will find yourself providing a comprehensive solution for your customer.  The solution will conform to ASTM and other regulatory standards.  The solution may have required the development of a test method, the design, and manufacture of a machine, and the validation that the equipment achieves the intended purpose.
