We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Software Engineer to be a pivotal part of our team, focusing on the Mona Terminal Software (Mona Embedded OS). What You'll Do:
- Work with Mona - one of the most exciting medical hardware devices in the high acuity care market.
- Spearhead the development and implementation of product advances, enhancing our system's security and reliability.
- Design and execute APIs that unlock hardware and sensor capabilities, aligning with our ambitious business specifications.
- Work in concert with diverse teams, ensuring our product's seamless integration and performance are second to none.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: A solid 3+ years in commercial software development, with a track record of tangible achievements.
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a field that's just as impressive.
- Technical Mastery:
- A command of programming in C, Python, and Bash within embedded systems.
- Expertise in single-board computers like Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson.
- A deep understanding of Linux's userspace development and Yocto programming.
- Knowledge of communication interfaces (think GPIO, UART, CSI, and more).
- A grasp of CI/CD pipelines, with a soft spot for GitLab.
- Proficiency in tools like Git and Jira.
- Communication: Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Problem-Solving: You're the one who sees a way when others see obstacles.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Ever dabbled in bootloader and kernel development? We'd love to hear about it.
- Got experience with Docker? That's a plus in our book.
