The Opportunity
As System Architect, you play a crucial role in designing and implementing complex systems in the healthcare industry. You are responsible for creating and maintaining the architectural framework for various software and hardware systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, software developers, and healthcare professionals, to understand system requirements and translate them into architectural designs. Design and develop system architecture plans for healthcare software and hardware solutions, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and compliance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of system components and interoperability between different systems
- Improve operations by conducting system analysis, recommending changes in policies, architecture and procedures
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to system architecture and healthcare systems
- Ensure the integrity, security, and availability of systems by implementing best practices and industry standards
- Support risk management by providing content to risk analysis regarding IT-Security
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technical leads and the Development team members.
About you
- B.Sc. /M.Sc. in computer science or relevant field
- Proven experience as a System Architect or 3+ years of experience as a senior software developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of system architecture principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and distributed systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Bonus points, if
- You have experience with machine learning
- You have experience designing and implementing scalable and secure healthcare systems, like clinical data repositories (CDR) or patient data management systems (PDMS)
- You have knowledge of interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
- You have in-depth understanding of network infrastructure, database management and DevOps
- You have knowledge of development languages and frameworks like Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, Django or similar
