Role Overview: As a Front Desk Host, you will play a critical role in delivering the Aman experience, providing top-tier service for a variety of events, projects, and experiences in New York City. This position is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality, with exceptional problem-solving skills and a dedication to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver seamless check-in and check-out experiences for clients.
Manage reservations and maintain accurate guest profiles.
Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth operations.
Handle cashiering duties and assist with package handling.
Maintain an exceptional database of guest history, ensuring high retention and satisfaction.
Be an ambassador for Aman, embodying our values and providing genuine care to clients and team members.
Support event coordination by working closely with other teams to meet set goals.
Provide concierge-level knowledge about activities, transportation, and attractions in New York City.
Uphold cleanliness, safety, and a positive environment in all workspaces.
Respond promptly and effectively to feedback from guests and team members, focusing on continuous improvement.
Handle financial responsibilities and maintain adherence to company policies.
Stay up-to-date with departmental procedures, policies, and goals through meetings and training sessions.
Support guests and internal teams with a problem-solving mindset.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
College degree or hospitality school graduate preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; knowledge of Opera PMS is a plus.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; multi-lingual skills are a plus.
Positive, engaging, and professional demeanor with an inclusive and innovative approach.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
