• Overall: 150 articles have been written, all following an identical structure, on the topic of design, specifically; UX, Service and Customer Experience Design by various writers.
• All content must be aligned in terms of structure, style, expression and readability, to be consistent across the entire batch.
• Word count: 1,000 to 1.5k word each article covering techniques in design topics total (total 125,000+ words).
• We have a style guide, one for text and a second guide for illustrations, which all articles need to align to.
Require a senior editor to understand and work with our subject matter experts across UX, Service Design and Customer Experience Design topics to develop the content to read consistently and accurately across the batch. We do expect a consistent, high-quality output along with proofreading and error-free ready-to-publishing, for each article.
• The editor(s) must have a strong background in technical and/or instructional writing/editing at a major publishing house.
• The editor will ideally have a background in or possess an academic qualification in one of the following:
1. Human-Computer Interaction (HCI),
2. Human Centred Design (HCD),
3. Product design,
4. Information systems,
5. Interaction design, and/or;
6. Interactive media
• The editor must be a native English (US) speaker.
• This job is remote.
• The editor will need to provide samples of previous work along with references that will be followed up.
• The editors must pass a trial (parameters to be mutually agreed)
• Bi-weekly Skype meetings to discuss progress with the Product Owner (me).
• NDA and contract signed.
• All work must be plagiarism and copyright free (including imagery).
