General Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive NCLEX preparation curriculum tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of students.
- Lead NCLEX tutoring sessions that focus on critical areas of the exam, including test-taking strategies, content review, and practice questions.
- Foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their best.
- Assess students' knowledge, skills, and progress, providing constructive feedback to guide their preparation.
- Collaborate with other instructors and program coordinators to ensure the NCLEX curriculum aligns with broader educational goals and standards.
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records, including attendance, assessment results, and feedback.
- Facilitate regular communication with students, parents, guardians, and educational stakeholders regarding student performance and progress.
- Ensure that all materials, resources, and tools required for effective NCLEX preparation are properly utilized and maintained.
Major Duties
- Curriculum Development: Develop and continuously refine lesson plans and learning modules that comprehensively cover the NCLEX content areas, incorporating effective study techniques, problem-solving skills, and test-taking strategies.
- Classroom Instruction: Lead individual and group tutoring sessions, ensuring each student is actively engaged and making progress towards their NCLEX preparation goals.
- Student Assessment: Regularly evaluate student understanding and readiness for the NCLEX, adjusting instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Community Building: Create a learning environment that fosters a sense of community, encourages collaboration among students, and promotes respect and professionalism.
- Technology Management: Ensure that all educational resources, including online platforms and practice exams, are functioning optimally and are used effectively.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and thorough records of student progress, including attendance, assessment results, and any issues or concerns, and submit reports as required.
