The Unloader is responsible for efficiently unloading products from trucks, containers, or other transport vehicles and ensuring that items are properly sorted, inspected, and stored. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to prevent product damage and maintain a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
• Unload goods from trucks or containers in a safe and timely manner.
• Inspect products for any signs of damage or defects during the unloading process.
• Sort and organize items for storage or distribution according to company procedures.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as needed (training provided if required).
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient unloading and workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of unloaded goods.
• Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Follow safety standards to minimize risk of injury and product damage.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in unloading, warehouse, or logistics roles preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus (training available).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling products.
