Unloader at Contractors Burbank Inc.

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Unloader to join our warehouse team. The Unloader will be responsible for manually unloading products from trucks, organizing them in the warehouse, and ensuring all items are handled with care. This role is essential in ensuring that deliveries are processed efficiently and accurately.
 

Responsibilities:

• Manually unload shipments from trucks, trailers, and other delivery vehicles using hand tools, dollies, and pallet jacks.
• Inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments, checking for damaged goods and reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Sort and organize products in the warehouse or designated storage areas based on type, size, or order.
• Ensure safe and proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate records of received items, including product details and any discrepancies.
• Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, keeping aisles clear and maintaining a safe workspace.
• Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure efficient product storage and inventory tracking.
• Perform general labor tasks as required, such as sweeping, organizing materials, and assisting with restocking.
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or unloading role is preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to use basic material handling tools such as dollies and hand trucks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
