The Assistant Director of Emergency Services role is a perfect opportunity to join Healthcare’s newly restructured nursing leadership team. With responsibility for ensuring positive outcomes, excellent patient experience, and a healthy work environment on the emergency medical nursing units at Healthcare, this position is an integral part of the clinical leadership team that oversees nursing practice and patient care. We believe that excellent patient care begins with effective leadership, and we are committed to supporting our nursing leaders not only in their day-to-day activities, but also in their professional growth and development. Assumes responsibility for oversight of assigned departments
Assists with ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines in nursing areas
Responsible for creating a healthy work environment that reduces employee turnover in areas of responsibility..
Assumes primary responsibility for projects or task groups as assigned, keeping stakeholders informed of the progress toward desired outcomes.
Performs daily employee and patient rounding in the Emergency Department
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines as set by federal, state, local, and other agencies.
Engages regularly with other nursing leaders to assess nursing operational needs and provide support
Assumes financial responsibility for the operations of the units, meeting productivity and budget targets.
Integrates evidence-based practices into nursing operations.

Normal hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. However, schedules may vary in accordance with business necessity. Normal office working conditions.
