Job Description :
The Radiology Technologist II performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The Radiology Technologist II works under general supervision in performing a variety of diagnostic exams and procedures in both X-Ray and CT modalities, according to departmental protocol, as requested by the physician order.
In the execution of job duties, it is the universal expectation that all tasks are performed with a patient centered focus, while also seeking opportunities to continually improve core processes. Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational need, which may include but is not limited to: holidays, extended shifts, night and/or weekend shifts, standby and/or on-call. Minimum Education
- Graduate from an Accredited Program in one or more medical imaging modalities as described below.
Minimum Work Experience
- Preferred - 1+ years of experience as a registered technologist in the appropriate modality
Required Skills
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified/licensed in good standing with appropriate professional registry
- Certified/licensed in good standing with appropriate professional registry:
- CT: Must be RT (R) (CT) (Or become ARRT CT Registered within 12 mos. of hire)
