Job Description
RN Clinical Coordinator for Critical Care (CCCC) oversees and conducts dialysis services at Health Care, Lander, and Riverton. The candidate will have demonstrated clinical strength including implementation and management of programs including implementation and sustainment of a bedside acute dialysis program aimed at caring for critically ill patients that are already receiving dialysis.
Role and Responsibilities
The CCCC:
- Facilitates, coordinates, and delegates the delivery of patient care to a defined group of patients during their entire hospitalization period.
- Is responsible 24 hours a day for the staffing and management of patient care in both campuses.
- Will be responsible for promoting the overall quality of care provided for the dialysis program and facilitates the development of new programs and the expansion of existing programs.
- Will be responsible for the maintaining of a bedside acute dialysis program aimed at caring for critically ill patients that are already receiving dialysis. Currently these patients are transferred several hours away due to the lack of dialysis capability. The program goal is to keep these patients in our community when possible.
- Works cooperatively with administrators, physicians, staff, other managers, and all customers of Health to provide services, which consistently meet and exceed the expectations of their customers.
- Assess and prioritize opportunities to improve, plan and implement effective changes and evaluate outcomes of process improvement activities.
- Models behavior consistent with the facilty management philosophy actively supports the Mission and Vision of the facilty and effectively maintains the hospital’s Standards of Care and Practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 3 years clinical acute care nursing experience with 1 year in ICU or comparative unit.
- Dialysis experience required.
- 1-year management experience as full time or relief charge nurse, clinical care manager, or Nursing Administrative Supervisor desirable.
- Strong clinical background.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Experience with new program development.
- Mentoring and staff development experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferable.
- Must have current RN license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wyoming
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC. TNCC required with 90 days of employment.

Job Requirements / Required Licenses

- Must have current and valid Wyoming RN License or Compact Equivalent
Required Skills:
- Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification through American Heart Association at hire or transfer
- Current PALS certification or within 90 days of hire or transfer date
- Current NRP certification or within 90 day of hire or transfer date
- TNCC - certification or within 90 day of hire or transfer date
- Handle with Care training within first 30 days of employment
- Minimum Work Experience
- Minimum three years clinical nursing experience.
