Job Description
Director of Risk Management at Georgetown Hospital
Pay: 36.40-55.20/hour depending on experience
Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:
· Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
· Directs and evaluates departmental operations, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
· Drives Culture of Safety within the organization focused on supporting the financial, quality and cross business performance through identification and investigation of risk-related business operations.
· Directs investigation and resolution of potential or actual hospital or professional liability claims including the performance of medical record reviews and staff interviews.
· Serves as a coordinator for resolution of general liability, property or theft claims.
· Demonstrates proficiency and executes Lean methodology, tools and philosophy for the benefit of patients,
· staff, and the organization.
