JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Being a member of the Global Service Bureau team, the Global Service Bureau Specialist will be responsible for the accurate set-up, maintenance, and enrichment of Standing Settlement Instructions in ALERT and the generation of reports for clients.
- The role requires the highest level of attention to detail where the Associate should be able to accurately capture and transfer information and instruction from clients to our system; able to see through the data, compare this against information sent by the client, pinpoint missing mandatory information and identify non-compliant data vs validation rules.
- As assigned by the Leads, the GSB Specialist will be involved in managing huge projects where they will
- Perform project scoping to determine capacity requirement based on client's volume
- Determine turnaround time target
- Negotiate with internal and external parties on reasonable turnaround time commitment
- Communicating with internal and external parties on project progress, issues encountered and coming up with mutually agreeable solution to address issues
- Ensuring client satisfaction during and after the completion of each project.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively handling multiple projects taking responsibility for meeting required turn-around time commitments (in line with departmental benchmarks/metrics) and with the highest level of accuracy.
- Assessing the volume and quality of the data received from clients whilst actively communicating with them to complete data upload requirements and to clarify any potential issues, raising problems promptly.
- Setting up and maintain client Standing Settlement Instructions.
- Reviewing data received from clients with the subsequent action of uploading it into the database.
- Ensure that all missing required information and non-complaint instructions are validated with the client and accurate.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritize where needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not essential
- Previous data entry and analysis experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of the Financial Markets desirable but not essential
- Ability to work well in a team
- MS Office
- Shift Time: 1pm – 9pm
