Internal Comms Managers in this role get to:
Be the Expert: Develop and deliver a region-specific communication strategy which improves leadership communications, delivers effective change communications and helps to build employee understanding and advocacy. Deliver relevant, accurate and timely communications to support the region to achieve its objectives. These communications include, but are not limited to, change and transformation strategy, restructures, HR, culture and values programs. Have editorial responsibility for regional specific internal channels, including Front Page (our global intranet). Ensure that business communications are translated where appropriate. Lead on developing the use of digital communications channels internally for your region.
Strengthen Relationships: Advise colleagues, including Senior Management Teams, on best practice in internal communication and engagement. Play a key role in the Global Internal Communication & Engagement community; providing support to colleagues, actively contributing to ideas generation, sharing best practice and driving completion of actions. Establish a communications community for your region to ensure consideration is given to local cultural business practices. Provide support to ensure high standard of presentation material and ensure compliance with brand guidelines. Champion for completion of Employee Engagement Surveys.
Be the Point of Contact: Support the Head of Internal Communication & Engagement, to deliver and manage communication and engagement programs and challenges globally. Support local engagement activities, for example Site Councils, in conjunction with regional leaders, where appropriate.
