Our team of Business Development Directors will engage a client who may be eligible for the 179D tax deduction, based on their contributions through renovations/retrofits of government-owned buildings. The role of a Project Relations Specialist is to provide education and awareness surrounding the 179D program, so that the government-building representative can successfully pass this deduction along to eligible companies.
Responsibilities:
o Develop a rapport with assigned government agencies by providing thorough information on the company, and the client who has engaged us, as well as the purpose of the needed documentation
o Own full responsibility for obtaining the signed documentation with a high sense of urgency
o Update and maintain all applicable databases from initial call to receipt of documentation
o Work with internal project teams to obtain key documentation needed to progress the client’s file
Requirements
o 3-5 years of B2B consultative business development or inside sales making dozens of calls a day
o Keen ability to develop a strong working partnership internally and externally
o Ability to provide strategic solutions in an effort to overcome obstacles
o Must have a consultative service-oriented style
o Excellent organizational skills
o Ability to work with a high sense of urgency
o Superb communication skills
o Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products
o 4-yr degree preferred
