Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center is one of only two certified Level I Trauma Centers in the Greater Houston area!

The hospital provides 24-hour emergency and trauma care to more than 40,000 patients a year. Looking to hire RNs for our Med Surg Tele, Med Surg Oncology, ACE, and TIRR Units.

Sign-On Bonus $10K - $12K

$10K for RN II: 1-3 years RN experience.

$12K for 3+ years (RN III: 3-10 years RN experience and RN IV: 10+ years RN experience).

Distributed in 3 payments:

1st payment - 20% of amount approved for specific job; first paycheck

2nd payment - 40% of amount approved for specific job; first pay period of the month following employee’s one-year anniversary in the role.

3rd payment - 40% of amount approved for specific job; First pay period of the month following employee’s two-year anniversary in the role.

PAY

Our RN salaries range from $65,000 to $110,000.

There are variables that would place a candidate with a job profile of RN I, RN II, RN III, or RN IV.

These variables include LVN conversions and years of experience.

Each year, Memorial Hermann assesses the healthcare market and adjusts salaries in specific job categories to meet the market’s demands. This year, it is clear that the COVID-19 pandemic has put certain clinical workers in high demand. Effective Sept. 12, 2021, Memorial Hermann will adjust salaries of full-time, part-time and PRN inpatient RNs (including non-bedside inpatient nurses). The increases will be calculated based on current salary (for internal employees) and years of experience. So, that means better rates!

COVID-19 Extra Shift Bonus

For our ICUs - Registered Nurses (including LVNs) and Respiratory Therapists:

Working shifts of 8 hours or greater: starts at $180 per shift for the 7th, and goes to $480 per shift for the 10th shift within a pay period. Details can be discussed further with the interviewing Recruiter!

COVID-19 Surge Bonus

This bonus is designed to reward employees who are working in some of Memorial Hermann’s most crucial bedside roles. ICU, Med Surg, and Pediatric RNs are eligible.

The COVID-19 Surge Bonus will be paid based on the number of Eligible Hours worked

within the specified six-week time period. The total eligible hours within a 6 week period is 60-360+ hours with varying bonus ranges between. Details can be discussed further with the interviewing Recruiter!

Unit: Med Surg Telemetry; Night (7pm - 7am) Shifts Available

Shift: Three, 12-hour shifts; Flexible Self-Scheduling

Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5-6

Beds: 45 (39 beds are Med Surg and 6 beds are IMU)

Unit Description

The unit is a fast-paced work environment and has had designated COVID beds on the unit.
The reality is that this is a heavy unit, it will be almost always busy but will have strong leadership and other additional support from staff. This unit has a positive work culture - can’t stress that enough. The manager and director are very involved in the unit and round frequently so they do their best to make sure the nursing staff have support.
This is an ideal unit for growth and to build up bedside skills.

Unit: Med Surg Oncology; Day (7am - 7pm) Shifts Available

Shift: Three, 12-hour shifts; Flexible Self-Scheduling

Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
