To provide clinical practice leadership for the operation of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department (ED) within the SageWest Riverton and Lander Health Care system. To direct clinical practice, coordinate patient service delivery, educate and develop staff, control budget(s) and manage the work environment. To serve as a resource for interdisciplinary divisions within the hospital. Support is with two coordinators, one for ICU and one for ED.

Lander Campus (89-beds)

·        ED – 6 Rooms, 1 ENT

·        ICU – 4 Rooms

Riverton Campus (70-beds)

·        ED – 6 Rooms, 2 Hallway

·        ICU – 6 Rooms (4 operational)

Position Details:

·        Reports to CNO

·        FTE’s - Direct Reports – 43.9 staff

o   ICU Coordinator-on day per week/then works as staff RN

o   ED Coordinator-one day per week/then works as staff RN

·        Previous Director in role since July 2018 – recently retired

Must-Haves:

• Must hold current active Wyoming RN license or compact equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Current PALS or ENCP.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
   

Nice to Have:

• Minimum 5 years’ progressive leadership and managerial experiencePrior operational and supervisory experience within a complex medical center preferred
