JOB DESCRIPTION

The Director of Risk Management will coordinate the processes involved in managing general liability and risk exposures for SageWest Health Care and the physician office practices including the Medical Office Buildings (MOB). Will work to ensure patient and staff safety, respond to claims of clinical malpractice, address patient complaints and comply with federal and state regulations. Coordinates with other departments to provide quality patient care.

Job Requirements: 

• Wyoming RN license
• Prefer Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Masters Degree in related discipline
• Prefer Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management

Preferred:

• Minimum 5 years’ progressively responsible experience Five (5) years of claims management experience
