Senior Programmatic Specialist (100% remote)
Ideally GMT +/- 1 Timezone
As a Senior Programmatic Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our programmatic & adtech stack. GAM, AdX, Prebid, TAM, OB, and you are perfectly capable of optimising ad stack. You are able to interpret data and articulate it to other stakeholders, you are able to ask the right questions and remain critical on the ad stack in every aspect.
Success in this role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and people skills. The ability to be solution-oriented and to communicate effectively at multiple levels both internally and with vendors or demand partners is essential. The individual should be self-motivated, have the ability to work both independently and in teams, and balance a workload that consists of revenue-oriented goals. Attention to detail and the ability to remain focused under pressure are key capabilities in this role.
A Typical Week Includes
Main Focus
- Work with ad tech lead on proper tracking and deployment of new initiatives
- Set up experiments and A/B tests with the goal of increasing programmatic revenue
- (prebid configs, floor prices, ad layout, etc..)
- Execution and maintenance of programmatic data strategies regarding PPID & other
- identity solutions (Liveramp, UID, IntentIQ, etc)
- Assessment of new ad products and technologies on the market
- Look into new ways we can be optimising our ad stack
- Maintenance and optimization of all aspects of header bidding (Prebid.js, EBDA/OB,
- Amazon (TAM/UAM)
Secondary Focus
- Continuously assess SSP relationships, and management of partners. Search,
- evaluate and onboard new partners.
- Work on floor prices and overall yield management
- Monitoring of programmatic and 3rd party revenue on a daily basis
- Report on open marketplace : AdX, EBDA/OB, Prebid, TAM, UAM and flag issues
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of experience working on programmatic on the sell-side (publisher) Knowledge about programmatic and digital landscape
- Team player but confident enough to make decisions alone if necessary
- Critical thinking person with great problem and troubleshooting abilities
- Have a lot of experience on optimising header bidding (prebid.js particularly)
- Understands challenges of the programmatic ecosystem related to death of 3rd party cookies
- and how publishers needs to get most out of open marketplace business in a post-cookies
- environment
- Fast forward thinker
- Great Excel wizard. You can spin up pivot tables quickly, you know how to use vlookups, ifs
- and sumifs.
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge about 1st party data, PPIDs, Device IDs, DMPs, clean rooms, etc..
- Worked with DSPs
- Experience with Xandr Monetize (or other ad servers and/or SSPs)
