The IT Help Desk Technician at Diamantem will be an integral part of our dynamic team, proactively supporting all internal and external customers in an effort to provide excellent IT support. This role requires a motivated individual who is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions when dealing with complex IT issues. The ideal candidate will have a wide-ranging background in various IT systems, who continually seeks to gain new knowledge in their field.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and efficient IT support to staff and management, responding to user inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnosis of system hardware, software, and operator issues.
- Monitor the performance of the company's IT systems to proactively identify potential issues and improve system availability and performance.
- Install, upgrade, and manage software and hardware devices, ensuring its compatibility with system requirements.
- Maintain detailed and updated inventory of company IT assets, planning and implementing updates, replacements or decommission as needed.
- Collaborate and communicate with different departments, helping to provide understanding and resolve issues concerning IT systems.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation, producing useful reports to support process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Possession of an associate or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an IT Support or relevant role
- In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and associated hardware, software, and servers
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in the English language, with superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality output under pressure.
