DineAmic Hospitality is currently seeking an HR Coordinator to assist with a full scope of Human Resources responsibilities including onboarding hourly employees, tracking staff rewards, and processing payroll. The HR Coordinator will work alongside Payroll, Human Resources, and Finance and Accounting team members to ensure compliance with paperwork and accurate and timely payroll processing. The role requires proficiency with Microsoft Excel, a high level of integrity, and the ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality. The ideal candidate has a customer service mindset, experience in hospitality, and strong mathematical ability.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS + RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and file employee documents including new hire paperwork, I-9 forms, employee change forms, terminations, employment verifications, certifications, etc. within the company HRIS platform
- Assist with processing payroll for salaried and hourly team members, including tipped employees across multiple outlets; Ensure time entries and tip sheets are accurate and approved; Communicate with team members as needed with inquiries regarding payroll submissions; Verify the input and reconciliation of all payroll data such as hours, tips, and deductions.
- Manage the employee referral tracker and process staff incentive gift cards for referrals
- Manage employee incentive and recognition programs; Track employee referrals, seniority milestones, employees of the month, etc.
- Conduct employment verifications and reference checks on an as-needed-basis
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, mailing, scanning, and/or emailing documents
- Additional duties as needed within the scope of the role
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 year of professional administrative experience; Professional payroll experience preferred
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills and ability to problem solve independently
- Solid multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues of all levels and take direction well from supervisors
- Proficiency in Excel required
- Experience in an HRIS/ADP Workforce Now desired
