Job Summary: As an Event Assistant, you will support the event planning team in organizing and executing events from conception to completion. This role involves administrative tasks, logistical coordination, and on-site support during events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
- Help with the preparation of event materials, such as invitations, programs, and promotional items.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure necessary services and equipment.
- Assist in creating event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution.
- Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and attendee assistance.
- Collect feedback from participants and post-event evaluations to improve future events.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software (preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
