The Role
Veritec is looking for a full-time PMO Manager to support the Project Delivery teams on multiple engagements across a range of clients.
The role will be central to assisting in the coordination for outcome-based projects across Canberra, NSW and Victoria. The PMO Manager will assist the Veritec Project Team to uphold Veritec delivery standards throughout project delivery.
You will support the project managers in the development and management of project budgets, status reports and schedules according to standards to ensure projects are delivered on time and budget.
Responsibilities
PMO Management & Coordination:
- Define and Facilitate governance process
- Undertake aggregated Program Level Reporting on schedule, risks, issues and budget
- Lead the definition and development of the Veritec approach to Project Management
- Induct, advise, assist and ensure Project Managers correctly apply the Veritec approach to Project Management
- Maintain tools, standards and methodology i.e. project management templates
- Coordinate various forums including review and approval of key documents, project performance reviews, and escalation of key issues and risks
- Set up projects including resource allocation and budgets
- Track and monitor project budgets to ensure commercial viability
- Work with Discipline Practice leads to promote and coordinate Communities of Practice (CoPs)
Requirements
- Project Management qualifications or certifications in one or more of the following:
- Certified Project Manager (CPM)
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Registered PM
- PRINCE2
- Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)
- Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O)
- Management of Portfolios (MoP)
- Demonstrated experience in Project or Program delivery or coordination
- Demonstrated Experience managing complex schedules
- Experience managing high volume project resourcing requirements
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence people and progress tasks
- Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High level of enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and highly self-motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
- Ability to manage high volume of transactions
