A little bit about Flanks
Flanks is a Barcelona-based fintech company focused on wealth management services. Its main product is a SaaS solution that helps financial advisors, family offices, private banks and other institutions to have a holistic view of their clients’ financial assets while using the latest scraping technology. We’re currently building the benchmark in the Open Wealth industry, and so far, we managed to have compatibility with over 280 custodian entities.
Thanks to our clients, we continue to grow at a fast pace. We have multiplied our growth by six, built a presence in 11 different countries in the last 18 months. In August 2021, Flanks raised €2.3 million in an investment round led by JME Ventures and SeedRocket 4Founders Capital to accelerate our market expansion.

About the role
The Business Solutions Consultant is responsible for leading and ensuring successful implementation of their functional area of expertise. The Consultant plays the role of interface between the project team and the client and ensures that all actions are taken to fully satisfy the client’s functional needs in their business/functional domain. The Consultant is also responsible for providing guidance and coaching to the Sales team.
Responsibilities
- An expert in wealth data aggregation.
- A specialist who can work on complex functional and technical requirements in Wealth Management.
- An able consultant with strong analytical skills to validate all client business requirements and fit them into the Flanks product capability.
- A strong professional capable of validating all functional decisions to ensure optimum utilization of Flanks products.
- Deliver engaging and persuasive presentations and demonstrations of the company's products or services. Showcase how the technical solution addresses customer requirements and provides value.
- Assist in creating proposals, RFP responses, and other sales collateral. Ensure that technical information is accurately represented and aligned with customer expectations.
- An influencer to make recommendation on best wealth management practices to the project managers and consultancy and advice to the client on the implementation of Flanks products.
- An expert to define and validate customization needs for Flanks products as per the agreed business definitions.
- A passionate individual with a customer focus who has developed the acumen to cultivate and build lasting customer relations
- A lead to coordinate with the Flanks customer success management groups to ensure product issues are identified and resolved.
- An owner to run workshops and benchmarks to meet specific project needs.
- A mentor to train and upskill the Sales team.
- When needed, a supervisor of specific functional parts of an implementation plan.
Things we'd love to see on you
- Proven experience in a Business Solutions Consultant position or similar role, with a track record of successfully supporting sales teams and delivering effective technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of wealth management and technology, including relevant industry standards, systems, and solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer requirements, analyse technical challenges, and propose appropriate solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or finance. Relevant certifications in financial technology or related areas are a plus.
- You live in Barcelona City and/or close enough to work at the office twice/three times a week. Living in Spain is a mandatory requirement, and a non-negotiable requirement.
- Business fluency in English is required. Knowledge of other languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German) is a plus.

The hiring process

- A chat with our Head of Sales, where we’ll dive deeper into your background, your possible fit, and where you’ll have the opportunity to ask any sort of questions.
- A second interview where we will introduce you a little deeper to the world of Flanks. This is a good moment to ask any questions to prepare for your next call.
- We will put you in a role-play situation with our Head of Sales to see how you address the challenge we present you.
- A final meeting with our Head of Sales and CEO.
