A little bit about Flanks

Flanks is a Barcelona-based fintech company focused on wealth management services. Its main product is a SaaS solution that helps financial advisors, family offices and other institutions to have a holistic view of their clients’ financial assets while using the latest scraping technology. We’re currently building the benchmark in the OpenWealth industry, and so far we managed to have compatibility with over 150 national and international banks and other financial entities.


We are pioneers in our market in Spain and are now rapidly expanding to other countries. We'll experience a lot of changes in the next few months: from the explosion of the amount of data we manage, new and very diverse clients, to the birth of new products on top of our platform. Thus, we are looking for a new member of the team to help us manage the onboarding of our new clients both robo-advisors (who consume our aggregated data via an API for their products) and more traditional players who prefer to consume our data via our platform or export capabilities.

About the role

You will be an Onboarding Specialist in our company focused on managing and leading the Onboarding of new clients. As a full member of the Customer Operations team, you will be a representative of the high level of service we give our clients, solving any problems they might have and linking up with other teams within the company when needed.

 

As responsible for the Onboarding process, your focus will be to ensure that our clients use our services to its fullest. Bringing in a consultative approach to understand their problems and ensure a fully customized experience setting up their accounts, while you gather their feedback to help us improve our product.

Things we'd love to see on you

  • You are a nice person: Assholes and bigotry won’t be tolerated.
  • Flanks is not a fully remote company. We like to share room and time together in our brand new office, so we expect you live in Barcelona City and/or close enough to work at the office twice/three times a week. 
  • Working level of English and Spanish proficiency are mandatory. Some notions of Portuguese and or French will be appreciated.
  • You have already some experience in similar roles. We're looking for someone with some lessons already learned, specially in client facing positions.
  • You're a natural problem solver. This includes proactivity and empathy to propose alternative solutions and workarounds to answer unexpected requests from clients.
  • Fast-learner and tech savvy. While you won’t be part of the technical team, you need to understand the background of our product and quickly become an expert on the software and product updates.
  • Meaningful experience with Jira and Excel will be appreciated.

The hiring process
