A little bit about Flanks
Flanks is a Barcelona-based fintech company focused on wealth management services. Its main product is a SaaS solution that helps financial advisors, family offices and other institutions to have a holistic view of their clients’ financial assets while using the latest scraping technology. We’re currently building the benchmark in the Open Wealth industry, and so far we managed to have compatibility with over 270 national and international entities.
Thanks to our clients, we continue to grow at a fast pace. We have already more than 300,000 aggregated portfolios spread across nearly 300 entities and have positioned our business at break-even in less than a year. In August 2021, Flanks raised €2.3 million in an investment round led by JME Ventures and SeedRocket 4Founders Capital.
We are pioneers in our market in Spain, which will certainly grow a lot in the next few months and years. However, we are going to take a league leap in terms of system volumetric, as our key focus now is to accelerate our market expansion in Europe and LATAM. About the role
You will be the People & Culture Lead at Flanks, working closely with the Management team. You will help design and implement our company’s people and culture strategies that form the backbone of our company’s goals and vision.
Other examples of tasks you can expect to work on are:
- Managing our employees’ entire life cycle including hiring, onboarding, feedback, and individual development. Working closely with our company’s leaders to establish and lead best-in-class talent acquisition processes to help us hire great team members.
- Implementing effective HR policies and procedures that align with labour regulations and promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborating with leadership to identify potential development areas and create high quality learning and development programs that ensure our employees work in an environment of continuous learning.
- Staying up-to-date on trends and best practices in talent acquisition, company culture, internal communications, digital tools, and HR management and proposing relevant improvements to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
Things we'd love to see on you
- You live in Barcelona City and/or close enough to work at the office twice/three times a week. Living in Spain is a mandatory, non-negotiable requirement.
- Likewise, we can’t offer a relocation package and/or working visa.
- You have working English and Spanish proficiency.
- Work experience of at least 3 years in an HR and/or Talent Acquisition function, ideally in a high-growth startup, scale-up, or quickly growing corporate unit…
- Experience in designing and implementing HR strategies and policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a similar field (preferably postgraduate studies).
What can we offer
We offer what we think is fair compensation (from 45K to 55K € per year for this role). We're on top of the market, but our intention is to increase compensation as the company grows. You will not be left behind. We believe this is a really nice time to join the project. This is a full-time, permanent contract.

The hiring process
This is how the usual hiring process looks like:

- A first chat with our CEO Joaquim de la Cruz, where we’ll dive deeper into your background, your possible fit, and where you’ll have the opportunity to ask any sort of questions.
- A second meeting with our CEO, consisting of a practical test to see your skills and abilities in a real-world scenario.
