A little bit about Flanks

Flanks is a Barcelona-based fintech company focused on wealth management services. Its main product is a SaaS solution that helps financial advisors, family offices and other institutions to have a holistic view of their clients’ financial assets while using the latest scraping technology. We’re currently building the benchmark in the Open Wealth industry, and so far, we managed to have compatibility with over 150 national and international entities.

Thanks to our clients, we continue to grow at a fast pace. We have multiplied our growth by four, built a presence in 8 different countries in 6 months, and have positioned our business at break-even in less than a year. In August 2021, Flanks raised €2.3 million in an investment round led by JME Ventures and SeedRocket 4Founders Capital.

We are pioneers in our market in Spain, which will certainly grow a lot in the next few months and years. However, we are going to take a league leap in terms of the volumetry of the system, as our key focus now is to accelerate our market expansion in Europe and LatAm. About the role

You will be taking an un-paid internship for the Finance department at Flanks, responsible for the control of valuations and bank reconciliations in all types of financial products. Your tasks will also include its monitoring and identification of such financial products.

Things we'd love to see on you

• Still being enrolled in university/FP studies is a must. 
• Experience of around 2-3 years in control of entities in the financial sector (management companies, insurance companies, security agencies).
• You live in Barcelona City and/or close enough to work at the office twice/three times a week. Living in Spain is a mandatory, non-negotiable requirement.
• A Master's degree in Finance is highly preferred.
• Business fluency in Spanish and English is also required.
• Knowledge of administration and liquidation of funds and pension plans, asset valuation and regulations applicable to the stock market.

This would be a plus

• Good relationship and teamwork skills.
• High knowledge of Excel, programming knowledge will also be valued positively.
