Location:
Based in Manchester. The role is to undertake and manage all elements of the day to day operation of the Flowbird Service Stores.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving deliveries from service technicians, Service Centres and suppliers. Booking deliveries in on the applicable computer system and ensuring all goods are stored or allocated as required.
- Managing stock requests from multi reporting platforms.
- Preparing and shipping or allocating parts and assemblies as per agreed processes.
- Ensuring all computer systems and documentation is keep up to date at all times. Ensure all processes are followed.
- Maintaining stores KPI’s as required by the business
- Keeping all stakeholders informed of unusual events (such as late deliveries and other unexpected issues)
- Day to day problem solving
- Undertaking stock audits in line with agreed processes and timescales.
- Ensuring that all stores and logistic paperwork is maintained and conforms to local/legislative requirements (including export shipping).
Experience:
- Working in a busy stores environment
- Stock auditing
- Working knowledge of stores documentation and computer systems including commercial shipping processes and documentation both within the UK and Export.
Key Skills:
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be PC literate
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Familiarity with receipt and dispatch paperwork
- Working knowledge of commercial shipping including all documentation both UK and export.
